You know your child.
You know something shifted.
We believe you.

pans/pandas

Your child was fine. Then suddenly, they weren't.

The meltdowns, the rage, the fear — appearing out of nowhere.

OCD symptoms or intrusive thoughts that weren't there before.

A regression in skills they had already mastered.

Sleep completely fell apart.

They seemed trapped — like they couldn't control what was happening to them.

And nobody could tell you why.

What’s actually happening…

PANS and PANDAS occur when the immune system — triggered by infection or illness — begins to attack the brain. The result is a nervous system in crisis. What looks like behavioral or psychiatric symptoms is actually neurological inflammation.

It's not who your child is. It's what's happening to their brain.

BrainVive's NeuroRehab Protocol™ uses movement, sound, and light to retrain the three systems driving your child's symptoms — and give the nervous system room to heal.

where we start

Vestibular System

System 01

Vestibular

The movement of our specialized table calms the nervous system, reduces the fight or flight load, and helps the brain regulate movement and spatial processing.

Auditory System

System 02

Auditory

Through carefully selected sounds, we retrain the auditory pathways that govern language, focus, and learning — building stronger connections from the ear to the brain.

Visual System

System 03

Visual

Using a softly shifting light, we gently stimulate and expand the visual field — retraining how the brain processes what the eyes take in and reducing the cognitive drain of a misfiring visual system.

When all three systems are retrained together, the nervous system finally has a foundation to build healing.

THE NEUROREHAB PROTOCOL™

Simple, gentle, passive.

Our unique 30 day program consists of 12 days in-office followed by an 18 day continuation at home to reinforce and strengthen neural pathways.

Headphones used during BrainVive sessions

01 · Auditory

The Headphones

Through headphones, you'll listen to specific sounds and frequencies designed to engage the auditory system. Nothing jarring or unfamiliar — just quiet, structured audio in a calm room.

Gently moving table used during BrainVive sessions

02 · Vestibular

The Table

You'll lie on a table that moves in slow, gentle, rhythmic patterns. This engages the vestibular system — the part of the brain responsible for balance, body awareness, and how settled the nervous system feels.

Lightbox used during BrainVive sessions

03 · Visual

The Light Box

A lightbox shows a single color for most of the session, occasionally shifting. It's not a light show — no swirling patterns or rapid changes. The simplicity is the point: it gives the visual system something steady and predictable to track.

04 · At Home

Continuing at Home

After the 12-day in-office phase, the light portion of the protocol continues at home — two 20-minute sessions a day in a dark room, for 18 days. Simple, structured, and easy to fit into a normal routine.

Does my child need an official PANS/PANDAS diagnosis?

No. Your child does not need a formal PANS or PANDAS diagnosis before talking with us. Many families come to BrainVive because they have noticed a sudden or dramatic change in their child and are still trying to understand what is happening. A discovery call gives us a chance to hear your story, answer questions, and help determine whether BrainVive may be an appropriate next step.

Can BrainVive be used alongside my child's medical care?

Yes. BrainVive is designed to complement your child's existing care, not replace it. Families may continue working with their pediatrician, specialist, therapist, or other providers while participating in the BrainVive program. We encourage families to keep their medical providers informed about the therapies and programs their child is using.

My child can't sit still. Will they really be able to do the sessions?

This is one of the most common concerns parents have — and children often surprise them. We regularly work with children who struggle with sitting still, high activity levels, anxiety, or sensory needs. Sessions are calm and predictable, and our team is trained to help children settle in and participate comfortably. Parents can stay nearby, and we work with each child at their own pace. Many families find that their child handles the sessions much better than they expected.

What if my child has significant sensory sensitivities or anxiety?

That's very common among the children we work with. The BrainVive environment is intentionally calm and predictable, and our team is accustomed to working with children who are anxious, sensory-sensitive, or hesitant about new experiences. We can adjust the experience as needed, and parents or caregivers are welcome to stay with their child throughout the session.

Can I stay with my child during the sessions?

Absolutely. Parents, relatives, or designated caregivers are welcome to stay right beside their child throughout the sessions. For children who feel anxious in unfamiliar situations, having a familiar person nearby can make the experience feel much more comfortable.

What does the 30-day BrainVive program involve?

The program begins with 12 days of in-office sessions using structured auditory, vestibular, and visual input. After the in-office portion is complete, families continue the light portion of the protocol at home for another 18 days. Our team walks you through the process so you know exactly what to expect at each stage.

Do you take insurance?

BrainVive does not currently bill insurance directly. During your discovery call, our team can explain the program, what is included, and answer any questions you have before you decide whether moving forward is right for your family.

What happens when I reach out?

It starts with a conversation. We'll listen to what has been happening with your child, answer your questions, and talk through whether BrainVive may be a good fit. There is no expectation that you need to have everything figured out before you call — that's what we're here to help with.

No such thing as too many questions when it's your child.
